Your ticket! Print it out or show it on your phone, both will work!
A valid photographic ID to allow you entry into Oktoberfest Parklands. We accept valid Australian driver’s license, a current passport or a government-issued proof of age card.
Debit or credit cards! We’re making life easy and taking a leaf out of Coachella’s book with a 100% tap & go event, which means bring your debit card, credit card, Andriod or iPhone (with mobile wallet enabled) and get ready to tap & go. Every bar, food truck, sideshow alley will only take payment with a Visa, Mastercard, AMEX debit or credit card, or your NFC enabled smartphone with tap & go functionality. This means no tokens, no ATM machine charges and no hassles! Cash will not be accepted at Oktoberfest Parklands. You must bring your debit or credit card which has ‘tap & go’ functionality.
There are no pass outs on the day, so make sure you’ve got everything you need before you arrive

Oktoberfest Parklands is 100% tap & go, so leave your cash money in the bank – we are card only!
Using the exact system used by Coachella and Splendour In The Grass, Square’s tap & go facility means bring your debit card, credit card, Andriod or iPhone and get ready to tap & go. Every bar, food truck and everything else will only take tap & go payment. This means no tokens, no ATM machine charges and no hassles! Prost to that!

WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME
Bags larger than 20cm x 30cm (an A4 piece of paper), glass (including make up in glass bottles), liquids of any kind, vapes and aerosols are all banned from the event. Find the full banned items list here.
LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELF & YOUR MATES
If you or one of your mates are feeling under the weather, a bit off kilter or Sie benötigen Hilfe the Red Frogs and First Aid teams are there to help. First Aid offer judgement free, confidential assistance.
There will be free water at every bar at Oktoberfest Parklands to help you stay hydrated.
FREE BUS SERVICE BACK TO THE CITY
ACTION Buses are providing free buses from Oktoberfest Parklands back to the Canberra City Interchange. Catch a free bus back into the city from Langton Crescent between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
KEEP THE ROADIE AT HOME
There’ll be plenty of steins and bier at Oktoberfest, so no need to bring a roadie with you. The area around Patrick White Parklands is an alcohol-free one.
