We don’t encourage driving, but if you’ve drawn the short straw, the closest parking is at the National Library and Mall Road West Parking, accessible via Parkes Place West. Read the signs and make sure you’ve got the right parking ticket – there’s nothing worse than a fine to ruin your day. The lake end of Parkes Place West and Queen Elizabeth Terrace will be closed from 11am on Saturday 20 October, so access will only be via King Edward Terrace. Check out the map for the details and directions.
The nearest bus stops are along King Edward Terrace and Commonwealth Avenue. From there it’s a quick walk to Flynn Place towards the entry gates.
