Free buses will be leaving Langton Crescent to take you all to Civic.
We have passed all valuable (wallets, phones, identification) lost property onto the ACT Police.
It is available to collect from the ACT Police at 16-18 London Circuit, Civic, Monday to Friday, 8am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.
Please call 6256 777 to ensure your property is there before attending.
You will need to be able to identify the property and produce identification.
Any non-valuable items (such as clothing) not collected will be will be donated to a local charity organisation.

Oktoberfest Parklands is just 5 minutes drive (or 20 minutes walk) from Canberra CBD at the Patrick White Parklands on Parkes Place, Parkes.
Oktoberfest Parklands opens at midday and closes at 10pm on 14 October.
Oktoberfest Parklands is at Patrick White Lawns, in front of the National Library of Australia. The only entry and exit is on the Flynn Place side of Patrick White Lawns. Check out the map with bus stops, pick ups and entry here.

Catch the bus. And walk towards the entry near the lake alongside Flynn Drive. More details on public transport can be found here.
Get those steps up and warm up for the big day. There is one key route from the city across Commonwealth Avenue, and another from the bus stops to get you to the entry. Check out the map here.
Book an Uber or taxi. You can utilise the Uber app or the taxi network to get lakeside. Be aware of surcharges during peak periods as they can hurt. Ask your driver you off along (safely) Parkes Place, King Edward Terrace or Langton Crescent and walk towards the entry near the lake alongside Flynn Drive.
Hitch a ride. Convinced someone to drop you off? Get them to drop you (safely) Parkes Place, King Edward Terrace or Langton Crescent and walk towards the entry near the lake alongside Flynn Drive.
There’ll be free buses running from Langton Crescent into the city, otherwise the taxi and Uber pick up zone will be along Newlands St, behind the National Library.

No. Food is a huge part of what makes Oktoberfest special and we will provide you with an extensive variety of food options that cater for most dietary requirements. There will be something for every palate available at Oktoberfest Parklands and you may just try something so good, you’ll never forget.

We will be serving a wide range of drinks besides beer, including wines and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

If you need to bring in prescription medication, you will need to make sure it is in its original packaging with dispensary label. The name on the label must match the ID of the ticket holder. Over-the-counter and loose medications cannot be brought into the event.
Please be aware security may ask Oktoberfest Parkland’s medical team to check your medication upon arrival.

Nein, Oktoberfest Parklands is a strictly 18+ event. All ticket holders will be asked to provide valid proof of ID to gain entry on the day (current Australian driver’s license, passport or Australian government issued proof of age card).
